F11 - Normal view Cornwall |
To see Dartmoor at its best, some photos will be presented in stereo - these can be seen by clicking on the "This page in stereo" link on each normal page
The photos are in anaglyph form and this means that red/blue viewers are necessary
The best viewing, to get the stereo full stereo effect, is to darken the room. Also, to use the F11 - Full Screen view, sit back from the screen and simply "gaze" into the scene
Simple card viewers can be obtained by sending an SAE (self-addressed envelope) with a 1st or 2nd class stamp attached to:
Keith Ryan
11a Gower Ridge Road
PLYMOUTH
PL9 9DR
Please enclose another stamp to help defray costs

Internet browsers normally have header, footer and scroll bars. These clutter the view.
This site is best viewed using Internet Explorer with your computer screen set to the common setting of 800 by 600 pixels.
Pressing the F11 key in Internet Explorer, on the top bank of your keyboard marked "F11", most clutter disappears. This is close to real Full Screen mode.
You can then view up and down the web page by:
You can return to Normal View by pressing F11 again.
There are reminders in the header of each page on this web site, by the Devon and Cornwall flags, there is also a scrolling message initially on each page in red text, just in case you forget!
This "F11 effect" works almost as well with the BT-Yahoo browser - although the header bar does not disappear. It also works in a similar way with Netscape.
I hope these tips help you to better enjoy your "virtual visit" to Dartmoor National Park
