This walk was reached by turning off the A386 road to Okehampton at the "Dartmoor Inn at Lydford" and driving up the track to the large car park marked by the yellow cross and the  P  symbol on the map. A good lunch was had at the Fox & Hounds pub.

Distance - 4 km (GPS track in Memory Map), / 2.49 miles.
